The Parami University Ombuds Office provides a confidential, independent, impartial, and informal resource for students, faculty, and staff who wish to raise concerns, seek guidance, or resolve conflicts within the university. Our goal is to promote fairness, transparency, accountability, and respectful dialogue across the university community.

The Ombuds Office supports the university community by:
Listening to concerns in a safe and confidential environment
Clarifying university policies and procedures
Facilitating informal conflict resolution
Promoting fair and equitable treatment
Identifying systemic issues and recommending improvements

Undergraduate students

What We Can Help With
You may contact the Ombudsman regarding concerns such as:
Academic disputes (grading, supervision, assessment concerns)
Unfair treatment
Harassment or discrimination concerns
Misunderstanding of university policies
Administrative delays
Interpersonal conflicts within the university
Ethical concerns
What We Do Not Do
The Ombudsman Office:
Does not replace formal grievance or appeal procedures
Does not conduct formal investigations
Does not overturn academic decisions
Does not provide legal advice
Does not act as an advocate for any party
The Ombudsman remains neutral and independent at all times.
Confidentiality
All discussions with the Ombudsman are confidential to the extent permitted by law. Information will not be shared without your consent unless there is a risk of serious harm or a legal obligation to disclose. The Ombudsman does not maintain permanent records containing identifying personal information.
